Stephen Brammer

Stephen Brammer

Stephen Brammer is a Professor of Strategy and the Director of Faculty at Birmingham Business School.

His research explores firm-stakeholder relationships, their strategic management and impacts upon company performance and reputation. Specifically, his research interests are corporate responsibility, socially and environmentally supply chain management, corporate reputation, sustainability, corporate governance and stakeholder management. His research has been widely published in leading journals such as the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, and Organization Studies. He is a member of the Academy of Management and has served as the President of the International Association for Business and Society. He has served as a Section Editor at the Journal of Business Ethics, and is an Associate Editor of British Journal of Management and member of the editorial boards of Journal of Management Studies, Business Ethics Quarterly, and Business & Society. He has obtained numerous grants and consults for companies on sustainability related issues.
